Aristocrat acquires nLive from GameAccount

Aristocrat Leisure is to assume full ownership of the nLive platform solution from GameAccount Network.

The move includes the purchase of GAN’s internet gaming system and remote game server. The two companies previously entered into partnership to provide internet gaming platform services and solutions to North American operators via the nLive platform.

Aristocrat CEO and managing director Jamie Odell said the transaction represents a significant milestone in the execution of the company’s online strategy.

“The nLive platform is an integral part of our plans - offering land-based operators a turnkey, wager ready, ‘virtual casino’ online,” he said. “Since its launch in the US in April, nLive has delivered impressive results and generated strong customer interest.” The acquisition boosts the company’s position in regulated gaming markets around the world, he continued, adding that it also positions the company well in the “critical” US market.

Revenues down in Mississippi

Revenues from the 11 casinos in the US state of Mississippi fell 2.9 per cent to $175.1m in August, down from $180.3m in July 2014.

On-property mobile deal for GAN

Software company GameAccount Network has extended its existing partnership with a major undisclosed US casino operator to deploy GAN’s Sense3 mobile casino real-money gaming product for existing patrons from Q1 2015.

New investment in Ho Tram Strip

Asian Coast Development, the owner of the Grand Ho Tram Strip casino development in Vietnam, has received a funding commitment totalling $50m from its majority shareholder, Harbinger Capital.
