The group, which operates casinos in Australia and New Zealand, saw revenues increase by NZ$46.3m to NZ$494m for the six months to December 31. Revenues at its flagship Auckland property increased 14.4 per cent to NZ$268.9m. Group EBITDA increased 11.5 per cent to NZ$168.2m

This momentum has continued into this year, the company said.

“Given the strong first half results, the continued momentum we have experienced in January and February, we expect our Normalised Net Profit for the full year to be at the top end of our previous guidance range – in the high NZ$140m, up from NZ$130.9m last year,” said SkyCity CEO Nigel Morrison.
