Ainsworth Game Technology is about to take a major step in its expansion in North America.

It has just opened new 55,000sq.ft premises in Las Vegas and expects to get a Nevada licence for some of its products early next year. The number of staff in its US subsidiary has now risen to around 50.

"We have had good results in California, Missouri and Canada, among other places," marketing services manager Atzimba Sandoval told InterGaming. "Also we have a distributor for the Pennsylvania market."

The successful 560 cabinet featured prominently on the stand at G2E, as did new games Dragon and Thunder Bingo, both being exhibited for the first time. Another new product on show was Player’s Platinum Plus.

Now that the new premises have been established, AGT will begin to assemble its machines in the US.
