A court in the US has dismissed a lawsuit against current and former directors of Entertainment Gaming Asia, a key player within the Asian gaming industry.

The civil action complaint, which was filed against the company and a number of officers by certain shareholders, including Prime Mover Capital Partners, Strata Fund, Strata Fund QP and Strata Offshore Fund, dates back to March last year.

The lawsuit concerns various allegations of federal and state securities violations, breaches of fiduciary duty, negligent misrepresentation and breaches of contract.

On June 22, however, the District Court for the Southern District of New York, dismissed all of Prime Mover’s claims and Strata’s claims, apart from two breach-of-contract counts against Entertainment Gaming Asia. All claims against the current and former officers were dismissed.
