TCS John Huxley's Gaming Floor Live is a new real-time roulette game optimisation tool designed to maximise key performance areas and profitability.

The system proved to be a hit with customers on the TCS John Huxley stand at ICE 2011, where the table was demonstrated non-stop for three days.

The system automatically captures game data which in turn provides vital information to maximise turnover, maintain house advantage, reduce operating costs and understand opportunity costs.

According to the company, a casino utilising the system will be able to significantly increase profit and game efficiency. Gaming Floor Live achieves this by monitoring in real time the turnover on each game and the speed of each game. In addition Gaming Floor Live monitors the number of players on each table, the minimum bet, the efficiency of the dealer and the performance of the roulette wheel.

This data is processed using a unique algorithm enabling operators to determine the game configuration which is proven as the most profitable based on historic data.

Gaming Floor Live consists of several components networked together via the Nexus Table Hub Hardware. The Nexus is a table-mounted network-connected device that manages all of the Gaming Floor Live related hardware on a gaming table, including roulette wheel, reader head, Chipper Champ2 chip sorting machine, active table limits display, dealer interface device or smart dolly.

The Nexus is responsible for collecting gaming data and sending it to the Gaming Floor Live server. It also receives and carries out instructions from the server, such as opening and closing the table, and changing the minimum and/or maximum bet.

Simon Witty, managing director Australasia at TCS John Huxley, said: "By closing the information loop for the first time, Gaming Floor Live brings a whole new perspective to managing live roulette tables. With its easy-to-use dashboard approach, risk can be managed and performance greatly improved."
