Italian furniture specialist Stylgame claims to have "revolutionised" the furnishing concept in the gaming world through its scientific research into ergonomic issues for casino seating.
The company announced that it achieved this by introducing a product line into the market that guarantees high levels of comfort for the player and ease of installation for operators.
A test carried out in a Las Vegas casino showed that by choosing Stylgame’s products, there is a considerable increase in revenue, the company said.
"We put our chairs to the test on eight slot machines with eight bases that were adjusted and optimised in height," the company’s Luigi Iulita explained. "The results were amazing, in only three weeks the machines being tested registered an increase in revenue ranging from 25 per cent to 30 per cent depending on the seat model considered.
Due to its commitment to the scientific study of casino seating, Stylgame is now considered among the leading manufacturers in the industry.
"During our frequent meetings with important groups and gaming operators, we are given the possibility to highlight all the advantages resulting from our research," said Iulita, "and we notice that the attention we get from the slot managers and slot operators is relevant and they acknowledge the validity of the enunciated guiding principles, embracing them as their own.
"This is the case for prestigious casinos and renowned slot manufacturers that have respectively renovated their floors and their cabinet production through relevant investments by following the scientific study results."

Some of our competitors use the word ‘ergonomics’ improperly, probably referring to general studies or studies for other applications that have nothing to do with slot machines and gaming in general."
