Aristocrat is to roll out its new Viridian WS cabinet throughout Europe earlier than expected, showcasing virtually all of its new casino games in the new widescreen format at London ICE this month.
Viridian WS was first unveiled at the National Indian Gaming Association’s 2010 trade show in April and was presented in Macau, Buenos Aires and Las Vegas. Runing on Aristocrat’s powerful GEN 7 platform, the widescreen version of the Viridian series is designed to give players a new gaming experience and improved ergonomics. The cabinet features high-resolution 22ins LCD monitors, a new upgraded sound system and a new 13-button low-profile button panel.
"European casino operators may be the last geographical group to witness this phenomenon, but thanks to a major rescheduling of our global development and manufacturing processes they will now be among the first to have the opportunity of placing Viridian WS on their gaming floors, perhaps as much as six months earlier than initially planned," said Daniel Lindsay, Aristocrat’s general manager - Europe.
