The owner of the Earls Court gaming shows, Clarion Gaming, has resumed the ICE title for its January show, according to information reaching InterGaming. The division of the event into separate show brands under one roof, covering casinos, internet gambling and amusements, will be refined into ICE Totally Gaming.

Each sector of the industry will have a separate tab under that title, covering land-based casinos, internet gambling, remote gambling, street gaming, bingo, betting, lotteries and other parts of the overall business. The move is understood to be viewed by the Clarion management as a means to remove the dividing lines which confused the show floor previously.

The move had been partially undertaken last year with the use of the new name IGE (International Gaming Exhibition) which replaced ICE (International Casino Exhibition), but that has been short-lived as the principally casino event had a strong branding under ICE.

It is expected that a formal announcement from Clarion Gaming will give more detail in the next couple of weeks.
