Although fewer delegates were sent to this year's G2E Las Vegas show, Javier Berasategui of Spanish playing cards manufacturer Fournier said that the number of decision makers in attendance remained high.

“It’s been quieter than previous years, reflecting the economic situation,” Berasategui told InterGaming. “For us, new people have visited out stand.

“What has happened is that instead of sending five people, maybe only one has been sent. It’s still more or less the same number of customers.”

Fournier exhibited its range of both paper and plastic playing cards, as well as its Baccarat Security Shoe, which is proving popular in Asia, Europe and Africa.
