Economic conditions in the US are likely to improve in 2010, according to Eric Fisher of MEI.

In the run up to G2E Las Vegas in November, Fisher said he was “optimistic” about the US’ economic prospects next year.

“The credit markets are stabilising,” he told InterGaming. “Consumer confidence is improving and there is a general sense of optimism beginning to emerge.

“As for the US gaming market, we are very excited about emerging markets such as Ohio and Illinois, as well as expansion in other states.”
