IGT Mexico's Ben Fuller believes that positive steps are being taken to improve the regulatory framework in Mexico.

“The regulatory environment is headed in the right direction in Mexico,” Fuller told InterGaming. “There is a long way to go and a lot of work left to do, but the framework is getting set to properly regulate the market.
“The foundation needs to come first, which it is through the government and the operators, and then we will see a much improved regulated environment.”

Fuller revealed that the company has begun to use third-party partners in Mexico to take advantage of their expertise and streamline its processes. With “strategically-placed” warehouses and improved supply chain management, IGT is in a better position to serve its customers than a year ago, he added.
