Making its first appearance at the National Indian Gaming Association’s trade show and convention in San Diego, California, will be Merkur Gaming Americas, the offshoot of the major German company.

NIGA

Merkur joined NIGA as an associate member last year. The show is being held from April 10 to 13 at the San Diego Convention Center where Merkur will have a strong American and transatlantic presence with a range of slots, led by the Avant Garde Trio and the new Merkurstar upright cabinet.

New games include Zentaurus, a 20-line five-reeler and Deep Sea Treasure, an underwater adventure on three reels and 30 lines.

Leading the personnel on the booth will be Charles Hiten, CEO of Merkur Gaming Americas. He said: “Our presence as exhibitors at the NIGA trade show is one that we make with great pride but also with humility and a clear awareness that we have much to learn. Our discussions with NIGA, and particularly with its chairman Ernest Stevens, Jnr, have been more than encouraging and we will come to San Diego ready to take our first steps by a process of listening, looking and learning. As we engage with Indian country gaming we will do so not just as suppliers but also as supportive partners with tribal operators.”
