IT is often said that the fight against corruption carried out by the Beijing government discouraged Chinese high rollers from going to Macau. Does this infer that there were borderline illegal activities taking place there?

“We have always held the view that the revenue declines in Macau have been collateral damage. In other words, we do not believe that Macau was directly targeted.
