The second quarter results for Scientific Games were released yesterday and showed revenues of US$658.7m to March 31.

This compared with $416.9m in the  period to the end of June 2014 and an operating profit of $18.1m compared with $3.6m for that same period of last year.

CEO Gavin Isaacs said that recent new product introductions had been well received, including Friends and The Flintstones participation games and the WMS-branded s32 hybrid slant cabinet, plus the launch of the Shuffle Master Classic national tournament at more than 200 US casinos with thousands of players.

Isaacs said that the focus would be on accelerating revenue growth in balance with a commitment to deliver cost savings to drive operating margins and cash flow still further.
