Caesars Entertainment is reportedly progressing its plan to build a casino adjacent to Ninoy Acquino airport in Manila, Philippines.
Caesars is studying the site and could propose a redesign of the airport’s first and second terminals, which would connect to the casino via light rail.
The $1.5bn development could bring in up to 3.5 million visitors a year, the company estimates.
The site is around three miles from Manila’s Entertainment City, which will comprise four mega resorts, including properties from Melco Crown, Genting and Universal Entertainment.
