A new counterfeit detector device to check the validity of bills has been developed by Suzo-Happ, the specialist parts manufacturer and wholesaler.
The Dutch company’s new device was originally developed for the nightclub business and then subsequently adapted for the gaming industry.
Bills are simply fed through a reader. Fresh software can be introduced each time a new denomination of bill is produced or for another currency.
Suzo-Happ sales manager Marc Aarts said: “To update the unit, it is not necessary to buy a new one. It can simply be connected to a computer to download the new software. It is ideal for any POS situation in a casino."
The unit has been given the name CCE 110 Neo.
