Frank Entertainment Companies hopes to convert the iconic Macy’s site in Pittsburgh, US, to include 16 to 20 lanes of bowling and an amusement arcade, reports the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
“It’s not a one-trick pony. It really is designed to provide the guest with the experiences that they need, that they want, that they crave,” said Bruce Frank, the company’s CEO.
“Many thought arcades would disappear. It’s not true. The arcades are still a wonderful way to be entertained and just have a great time,” he said.
Randy Mineo, the executive vice president of the site’s redeveloper, Core Reality, has spoken about the possibility of a bowling alley and entertainment centre in the first two floors of the 13-storey building.
The Macy’s store closed in September 2015.
